Projects that help us extend our impact on sustainable nutrition from the sea
Investments and relationships
Our strategy of leading sustainable nutrition from the sea and the commitment to have a positive impact on the life of people has led us to engage in different businesses, alliances, projects and collaboration.
70% interest
We own 70% of the FiordoSur Group, which engages in the processing and export of premium ocean products like Chilean sea bass and king-crab.
50% interest
We own 50% of Golden Omega, a Chilean company focused on producing high-quality Omega-3 concentrates, made from fish oil, that contain as much as 85% EPA and DHA.
Golden Omega’s state-of-the-art production facilities are located in the north of Chile, near the source of raw materials. This guarantees a secure supply of high-quality fish oil.
20 % interest
We merged our Chilean mussels farming operation with St. Andrews in January 2019 to together become the largest producer of Chilean mussels in the world. We currently own 20% of St. Andrews.
St. Andrews has more than 900 hectares of farms and it processes more than 60,000 tons of mussels a year.
Through this merger, we are striving to specialize production processes, concentrating Orizon’s operations on the production of products made from jack mackerel, sardines and anchovies, while leaving Chilean mussel production in the hands of St. Andrews.
